Our Evolution From Baldwin to BLDWN

For Spring 2019, we introduced a new logo in legendary American artist and type designer Frederic Goudy’s Copperplate typeface.

Our decision to remove the vowels in BALDWIN, transitioning to BLDWN, symbolizes our commitment to innovation. As a company founded in Kansas City, we are inherently an American fashion brand; Our story is the foundation for everything we’ve done and will continue to do as BLDWN.

Since Matt and Emily founded BALDWIN ten years ago, we reflect on the past, present and future to provide the best shopping experience for our customers. In this next chapter, BLDWN is dedicated to making the clothing you love even better. We’ve tailored our current collections and best-selling styles, focusing on quality, variety, versatility and most importantly, function. We’re taking a modern approach at American fashion, designing new classics that honor the past, but with a sharp and innovative edge.

We’ll continue to celebrate our Kansas City roots by telling the story of American design, but in an even bigger way. Everything we create commemorates what being a modern American fashion brand means to us. And with that, we’re thrilled to share our next chapter with you.
